About Me
I am an assistant professor in the department of Computer Science at Sacramento State University. I earned my Ph.D. degree in the Department of Computer science at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I have the fortune of being supervised by Dr. Palden Lama. In 2022, I interned at the Google (Pittsburgh). From 2016 to 2017, I briefly worked at Baidu Waimai (Beijing) before deciding to pursue a startup venture.
My research focuses on designing advanced system software and middleware solutions to optimize cloud/edge resource management, enhancing the Quality of Service for end users.
I am currently interested in ML Serving/Inference, how to make AI/ML model efficiently running in the IoT-Edge (resource limited devices, such as Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano), to solve the real-world problems, like Robotics and Smart City.
I enjoy communicating my work and talking with students who want to learn more about computer science. Please don’t hesitate to reach out or come to my office (Riverside 5044)!
If you’re interested in conducting research with me or having me mentor your master’s project, please send me your transcript and CV. Before I agree to mentor your master’s project, I prefer that you complete the CSC/CPE 159 course!
